DropAlert provides mortgage-rate monitoring and optional email alerts. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

When you enable alerts, we collect your email address, current mortgage rate, mortgage program and type, rate-lock date, alert preferences, and confirmation or unsubscribe status. We use this information to evaluate the alert conditions you select and deliver the service.

Your browser may also provide technical information such as device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interaction data. We and our service providers may collect this information using cookies or similar technologies for security, analytics, and advertising.

DropAlert uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve, personalize, and measure ads. The ads you see may be based on your visits to this and other websites, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

We use service providers to run DropAlert, including Vercel for hosting and site analytics, MongoDB for data storage, Resend for email delivery, and Google for advertising. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own privacy terms, depending on the service.

We retain alert information while your subscription is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Every alert email includes links to update your preferences or unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops future alert emails but does not automatically delete the stored record.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your alert information by emailing alerts@drop-alert.com. You can also limit cookies through your browser or the consent controls shown on the site, when available.

We do not sell your email address or mortgage-alert details. We disclose information to the service providers described above, when you direct us to do so, or when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or protection of rights. Advertising partners may process cookie and device data as described above.

DropAlert is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
